Product Description:

Blind Flanges are a type of information error-free device, commonly used to close a pipe end or prevent an outlet frame of a piping system. Usually made from materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel (inox), alloy steel and non-metallic materials.

Application:

  • Widely used in petroleum, chemical, power plant and industrial piping systems.
  • Flanges are commonly installed at the ends of pipe sections, inspection points, or at reserve locations for ease of maintenance, inspection, and leak prevention.
  • Also used in drainage systems, HVAC and in waste treatment systems.

Standard version:

The ANSI Standard for Blind Flanges  is a component of the ANSI B16.5 standard, a common standard for trim, farm fittings, and pipe joints.

  • Nominal face size: from NPS 1/2 inch to NPS 24 inch (DN 15 to DN 600).
  • Pressure and temperature: Applicable classes range from Class 150 to Class 2500. Maximum operating temperature is determined according to the material of the facade.
  • Materials: Carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel and nickel alloys.
