7. DIN flange standard

DIN 2632 Welding Neck Flanges

Leave us a message

Description

DIN 2632 Welding Neck Flanges are flanges with long necks that are welded directly to the pipe. This increases strength and reduces the risk of leakage. Welding neck flanges are commonly used in high pressure, high temperature systems, and in harsh conditions.

  • Material : Stainless steel, carbon steel, steel alloy.
  • Dimensions : According to DIN 2632 standard.
  • Pressure : PN10.
  • Surface : Can be flat flange, convex flange or other types of surface.

Applications

DIN 2632 Welding Neck Flanges are widely used in industries such as:

  • Oil and gas : Oil and gas pipeline systems, refineries.
  • Chemicals : Chemical and pharmaceutical factories.
  • Energy : Thermal power plants, nuclear power plants.
  • Water treatment : Water supply and drainage systems, wastewater treatment.
  • Machine manufacturing : Piping systems of industrial machinery and equipment.

Standards

DIN 2632 standard specifies the technical and dimensional requirements for weld neck flanges with nominal pressure rating PN10. These standards include:

  • Dimensions : Inside diameter, outside diameter, thickness, bolt hole diameter, number of bolt holes.
  • Materials : Specifies the suitable materials for flange fabrication.
  • Pressure : Determines the nominal working pressure for the flange.
  • Symbols and identification : Symbols on flanges to identify manufacturer, material, size, pressure.

DIN 2632 is part of the DIN standard system, widely used in European countries and many other countries around the world.
