Leave us a message

Description

DIN 2543 Slip-On Flanges are a type of flange designed to be slipped over the end of a pipe and then welded into place. The flange has a bore slightly larger than the pipe and is slipped into place before being welded on both the inside and outside to increase strength and reduce leakage.

Applications

Slip-On Flanges according to DIN 2543 are commonly used in industries such as:

  • Oil and Gas
  • Chemistry
  • Energy industry
  • Air and water system
  • Vending Machine

They are suitable for low to medium pressure and temperature applications where low maintenance and ease of installation are required.

Standards

DIN 2543 is a German standard that specifies the specifications for Slip-On Flanges. Key points include:

  • Size and Diameter :
    • Outside diameter (OD)
    • Inside diameter (ID)
    • Bolt Circle Diameter (BCD)
    • Bolt Hole Diameter
    • Number and size of bolt holes
  • Materials : Carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel and other materials suitable for specific applications.
  • Nominal Pressure : These flanges are designed to withstand different nominal pressures, such as PN6, PN10, PN16, PN25, and PN40.
  • Construction and Design : Flange thickness. Machining details to ensure the flange fits and functions effectively in the piping system.
  • Manufacturing and inspection standards : Manufacturing and quality control procedures to ensure flanges meet the required quality standards.
